So, does this mean that you have to break the rules a bit in order to achieve greatness? I tend to think there's a bit of truth in that but I don't want to seem blasphemous or disobedient, either. If there's supposed to be balance in all things in life does that include the level to which we need to blindly obey as opposed to finding out the reason for the "law" and knowing when to follow the "spirit of..." rather than the "letter of.."?
