The hymnals in our chapel in Preston -- originally the 1st Ward then later the 5th Ward; and shared with the 8th Ward -- many of the hymnals had penned in the margins instructions to turn to different pages. Once one got to said page there was an instruction to go to yet another different page. I don't remember what the end result but I do remember that on one hand it was a fun diversion while on the other hand it was "evil" of the person who desecrated the hymnal in that way. Was I alone? Did this happen in your chapel? Does it still happen today?Currently on a quest to create 365 blogs entries in a single year.
