The other day I was sitting in church with my scripture marking pencil in my hand and it made me remember a time in my elementary school days when some kids thought it was cool to put a pencil between their knuckles and snap it in half. I couldn't fathom that they would ruin a perfectly good pencil like that. I was too concerned about the economics and the impropriety of the act to even consider it.
