Significant Buildings - First Home
In what will likely be the last installment of the "Significant Buildings" series, I offer my childhood home at 225 S 300 E in Preston, Idaho. For the first 17 years of my life it's the only home I knew. In this photo some actually appear to be out front either shucking corn or snapping beans. Corn on the cob and creamed beans were great treats on Summer days. There are many more memories I have that I'll likely save for another day.Monday, August 13, 2007
Significant Buildings - Current Home
This is our home at 801 South Third Street in Hamilton, Montana. We purchased it in 1997. This picture was taken shortly after purchase. Just this January ('07) we finished a remodeling project to add a bedroom on to the back of the house. I couldn't find a good picture of that and it's dark outside right now so I'll have to take one another day. Anyway, this is a good house but it's becoming a better home each day.

Significant Buildings - Temple
Farmers State Bank's building in Victor, Montana is significant to me because I spend 8+ hours there nearly every weekday. What a perfect segue to another important building, the Spokane, Washington Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Tara and I paid a visit today. It's a place where I can find solace, peace, and learn about life from an eternal perspective. When we got home we were pleased to see that our picture window's been replaced and we've got water back in the master bathroom again. Our home is like our personal temple.
