In the old days we used the phrase "you had to be there" when you tried to repeat a joke or humorous situation that left others unimpressed.
Now we show each other funny pictures or videos from the Internets that often have the same effect. I am lucky to have a family that at least pretends to enjoy the same things I do. I keep track of such things throughout the day and bookmark them temporarily so that I can show them to my family during "night stuff", which directly precedes scripture time, followed by prayer time, followed by daily documentation (blog/journal) time. Does your family/friends always enjoy your humor?
