Are you surprised by the predominant ancestral color of your state/county? I can't figure out why the county just to the north of us is colored "Mexican". Can anyone who's lived in Rexburg longer help me understand?Census-2000-Data-Top-US-Ancestries-by-County-1396x955.png (1396×955)

What really surprises me is the German blue. I didn't realize there was so much German influence, especially here in the west.
One of my really great friends grew up as an illegal immigrant in Rigby, which I guess is West of Madison county? She and her family were from Guanajuato Mexico.
